Heat, Humility, and a Heavenly Rescue -- Colt & Malia Johnson

While visiting family in Arizona from Idaho, experienced hiker, Colt set out for a solo hike despite 110-degree heat and a string of spiritual promptings warning him not to go. His wife, Malia—five months pregnant with their second child—was uneasy about the decision but knew she couldn’t stop him. As Colt pushed forward into the desert, the heat quickly overwhelmed him. He collapsed into a cactus, lost control of his body, and was left stranded and fading.
